So following on from my SMART goals post a few days ago we need to look at where I am now and then what I want to achieve by the end of the year. It is so important to look at where you are now so today

Targets for end of 2019 because from August – December I did the above realistically:

These set me goals to achieve on Pinterest around 200 per month, 50 a week. So the next sensible option would be to open an excel spreadsheet with columns for each month and the target for that month and then when you check end of the month colour the number green if achieved. If you haven’t achieved it put the total you did achieve and then set your mission to work harder next month, implement a new strategy to get you there, but don’t be too disheartened if you don’t get there, these are your personal goals so essentially if you don’t get there it isn’t the end, you can just keep trying.
I learnt an important lesson from my 8 year old in 2018 – I couldn’t do something and she said to me, but Mum you just can’t do it YET! She told me the story that at school if anyone in the class says they can’t do it the teacher just says you just can’t do it yet, you have the potential to do it, you just need to practise or learn more, up your skills and keep getting there. This is a great lesson I thought for kids in never giving up, learn how to achieve your goals and get to were you want to be.
Personal goals for 2019
Pass my AAT.
I have 9 more exams to do in 2019 for this to be possible.
2 in January
1 In March
and then I need to plan the rest. Again for this a schedule will be drawn up so I have the time to revise and so that I fit each exam in to have time to get them all passed this year, this will be tricky but hopefully not impossible.
My third goal for 2019 is because I have wanted to write a book for ages and I feel I have a nice story idea so I would like to write a few words and at least have some kind of script or story written for 2019, I am not sure how I will manage this one in 2019, whether to set monthly word goals or just try and schedule time to write but this will be a goal I would like to do but won’t put too much pressure on.
