I have taken many of the kids to soft play centres over the years so here is a round up of the local ones to Wakefield that you can try
Xscape Castleford – Loved this one as they offer 99p play for up to 18 months. It is lovely and clean and the play area is quite large. The blue slide is my favourite and they also have a really pitch black slide. They also have a Thanx card where you get rewards after so many trips as an incentive I gather to go back and one time we got a free fruit shoot which was nice. They also have toys out such as dinosaurs and bricks at toddler times through the week and are introducing other activities and baby weigh sessions.
Happy Days – Nice play area especially the ball popping machine however can be a little more expensive than other play areas. It is well located on denby dale road just off J39 M1 though so ideal for access and free parking. They also do parties which I have been to a couple and the kids have always had a great time.
Wacky Warehouse – Walnut Tree – This play area is rather dark and dingy and could do with an update but the kids still seem to enjoy it. They offer really good priced parties especially evenings through the week and I have been to many parties here. They also offer a good monthly deal especially in Summer where you can pay between £10-20 and take your kids as much as you like. The kids session through the week is also pretty reasonable in price and gets you free juice.
Cheeky Monkeys – They seem to have a few offers on social media, the play area for this one is massive and I imagine in non-school time it would be hectic and hard to find the younger children amongst the bigger kids but I like the fact they have soft play at one side and then a massive car track with vehicles and little play houses on the other side.
Krazy Kingdom – Dewsbury – Such a great variety of things to do here, little more expensive than other play areas but they have a football area, trampoline area and little Karts as well as really fun slides so well worth a visit.
Fuzzy Eds – Outwood – Nice little indoor play area, they used to have many offers on for entry a while ago but not sure they still do this. Handy for the pub though if you spend the morning here and then call into the pub attached for lunch.
PlayStation – Ossett – They have a nice selection of different activities in term time including collaborations with Creation station and a music session, they also do a story time morning so you can have varied fun each day of the week with your toddler.
